Old City Inn is located on a quiet residential street within the walls of Icheri Sheher (Old City) - XII-th century architectural monument that is in UNESCO's list of world heritage sites. The inn has a great location, 5 minutes from everything within the old city: Maiden's Tower, Shirvan Shah's palace, SOCAR (if you're on business), the Nizami museum, seaside Boulevard and shopping area. etc This is an excellent alternative to the Hyatt complex and great value for money. Icheri Sheher filled with very narrow streets and a lot of small shops of antiques is a major tourist attraction itself. Other attractions such as museums and historical sites are in close proximity to the hotel.

Hotel Old City Inn is located inside the Old City fortress, a monument of architecture of 12th century.
The Old Town area, where the hotel is located, is a historical site (officially recognized as the UNESCO world heritage sites) and situated in the heart of Baku, surrounded by very narrow streets and a lot of small shops of antiques. Most attractions such as museums and historical sites are in close proximity to the hotel.
Maiden Tower, symbol of Baku, and Shirvanshakh Palace, the largest historical complex in the city, are located in 3-5 minutes walk from the Old City Inn. Primorsky Boulevard is only 5 minutes away, and Fountain Square, a favorite by most urban place with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops is in 2 minutes away.

Hotel Services and Facilities
The breakfast is Continental and quite good, according to the hotel category. Old City Inn has a small Business Center, but lacks swimming pool and sporting facilities. If you can live without them and rather stay in a welcoming place, then the Old City Inn is the place for you.
Since the hotel is located in the heart of Baku there are a lot of nice dining options around. You can try the Caravansarai restaurant, just 5 mins away from the hotel, occupying an authentic 14th century Hindu Caravansarai.
You need to know that Old City Inn is run as a training hotel for students at the Baku's Western University. So sometimes, things might not work smoothely. But with a good sense of humor, everything can be solved and the "staff" is very motivated and ready to help.
There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. On the roof of the hotel you will find a cozy Harbor Cafe with breathtaking views of the Baku harbor and the Maiden Tower fortress.

The inn is quite small with only 15 relatively spacious rooms, comprising of 4 levels with a restaurant on the 2nd floor. Rooms are tastefully appointed, some with great views over the Caspian (ask for room 7). Better rooms that are much bigger and very nice are on a higher floors, the smallest room is on the ground floor. Rooms are equipped with all that you would expect from 3 star hotel, and even more: tea bags and tea/coffee maker for free, hair dryer, TV with 20-30 channels (including US, British, German and Italian channels), filled up mini-bar and phone. What else you need for a pleasant and no hassle hotel! Rooms are serviced daily from 09.00 to 17.00 hours.
