Altstadt Hotel is a small privately run hotel in the heart of Baku's historical centre - Old City (Icheri Sheher). Hotel has just 8 very decent rooms with all basic amenities needed for a tourist on budget. Main tourist attractions of Baku city are within short walking reach. Hotel would be an ideal place to start exploring vibrant Baku. There is a small bar in the hotel but since the hotel is based in city centre you can always find yourself an interesting place to have a drink or snack.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Altstadt Hotel is family run with the father & son to be main managers. They truly treat the customers as a personal guests and would help you in any way they can. They can give you directions, organise city tours or trips outside Baku. The  breakfast is very basic but quite OK, just enough to have a good start of the day.

Overall good cheap budget hotel in Baku's Old City. Perhaps the cheapest in Baku with such prime location. Highly recommended!
