“Ariva” Hotel is located 15 minutes drive from the city center. In terms of location the hotel is not the best option especially for toursits and would likely more suit to business travelers that have some business interests in this part of Baku city. There is no any Metro station nearby so taxi would likely be your only option. Nevertheless the hotel is generally cheap for the hotels in its price category and is good value for money. There is an interesting local market a few minutes walk if you want fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff.

Hotel offers 47 comfortable and modern rooms, well designed, with interesting decor - a bit like a love motel with gaudy furniture (but clean). Big size LCD TV and rooms' space are satisfying.

This hotel has small fitness (treadmills are modern and in good condition), spa, billiard and tennis.  There is also a small swimming pool. The downstairs restaurant is very local, without a menu (at all, in any language) - food is from Azeri cuisine and of OK quality. Hotel offers you SPA & Fitness center equipped with sauna, steam bath, Turkish bath, gym, indoor swimming pool, massage service, billiards & tennis services for clients.

Buffet breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. in COFFEE SHOP that is located on the top floor of the hotel. According to reports the breakfast is weak and should be more adequate. Hotel staff is excellent and very courteous.

Conference hall is equipped with necessary equipment and designed for different kind of  events, conferences and presentations.

All in all Ariva hotel is well priced and represents an excellent value for money. But don't stay here if you are a tourist to see Baku's sites, as the location is off and taxi is the only feasible option.
