Askar Hotel is another good medium size (53 rooms) budget hotel that is worth looking at by Baku guests. The hotel is in 6 floor building located on a quiet street slightly further away from city centre. The hotel is close to 'Nariman Narimanov' Metro station, has good transport links and easy access to central part of Baku and its major tourist attractions. The Metro station is 400 metres away and it will take you only 2-3 stops to get to city centre.

Rooms are very spacious, light and cosy. They are very well furnished and leave a very good impression. Classically decorated rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. The bathroom is up to the highest standards with all amenities being in place. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are available in a bathroom. Daily cleaning and all is very clean.

Askar Hotel features a sauna and a 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. The on-site restaurant serves various Azerbaijani and European dishes. A well stocked bar is also available at the ground floor.

The good 3+* hotel at a very competitive rates. Location not central but close to tube station that will take you to tourist centre for 10-15 min. The staff and service are good, all in all very decent. You will definitely not regret staying here.
