Opened in 2010 "Bosfor" Hotel is a budget medium range hotel located in Baku. Location is not very central though it is quite easy to get to central part of Baku with its major tourist landmarks. The hotel is marketed as 4* on some websites but it is rather between 2* and 3* on a standard scale. 

The hotel is located in sleeping district of Baku city around 15 minutes walk to Nariman Narimanov metro station. This makes access to Baku city centre very easy, with just couple of stops away and 10-15 minutes ride for ridiculously low fee (15-20 US cents per ride) this is a good place to stay taking into account its moderate rates. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Tofig Bakhramov Stadium and Heydar Aliev cultural centre. Free parking is available nearby.

Bosfor hotel features a basic gym, a small indoor pool with sauna, but it is open for outsiders so not really recommended. Restaurant specialising in national cuisine. Free WiFi is provided.

The staff speaks Azeri, Russian, Turkish and English.

Classically-styled rooms with flat-screen TVs and air conditioning are offered at Bosfor Hotel. They each feature a minibar, bathrobes and slippers and toiletries. Rooms are quite spacious but poorly sound-proofed. Furnishing is not up to date and slightly worn up. But for the price asked this is a good choice hotel for a budget traveler. Breakfast is not varied, basic in style but sufficient. Coffee is instant and the fried eggs are served only before 9 am. Guests can book a massage or Hammam treatments at Bosfor, or relax in the traditional steam bath.
