Holiday Inn Baku has a great location almost in the heart of Baku; close to places of interest and shopping area, very close to the sea and park boulevard. 20 minutes walking to Fontain Square and Promenade, easy to acces the airport by taxi. If you're coming for tourist reasons, you might book something a bit closer to Maiden Tower, particularly if you like to take things on foot. However, there is a modern shopping mall across the street with every kind of store you might need, as well as a few restaurants.

The rooms are comfortable and a good size, much light, nice view, with new furniture, TV, minibar. Very comfortabe large bed. There is a full size modern working table in the room. Not a really luxurious place, but very high standards, comfortable and pleasant.

The rooms offer air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and minibar. Conditioning is central and can't be controlled individually, which sometimes might cause problems. In winter periods they set a system on winter setting with temperature around 26-28 Celcius that might be too hot for some of us.

Holiday Inn Baku hotel features a spa and wellness centre with a sauna and small indoor pool. Spa and swimming pool are really good. Free WiFi is available on site. Baku Boulevard and House on Government are a short walk away.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful, from front desk to the bar and the breakfast wait team. The reception, housekeeping and Bagi staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is very good and is served on 18th floor with good view. The breakfast is varied but the same all the time, so if you plan to stay for a long it might become boring.

Guests can dine in Marina 18 Restaurant with the panoramic views of the Caspian Sea, or order room service and breakfasts in the room. Illy Cafe serves a wide selection of homemade pastries and cakes. Guests can relax with a drink at Sagi Bar & Lounge and Mezzanine Lounge.

If you are on a budget, but still don't want to leave your comfort zone, this hotel probably is your best bet. The hotel and price ratio are good for Baku standards. Good value for money.
