Lake Palace is a newly constructed (2011) hotel of unordinary architecture facing a small lake. This is a combination of modern and classic-style architecture, quite unusual for Baku. The hotel is located not in the very prime location, and, perhaps, this is its only drawback. Though getting around the city is quite easy with having tube station nearby (Inshaatchylar station), it would take you 20 minutes by tube or drive to get to major Baku tourist attractions. Otherwise the hotel offers amazing comfort, good views and top-notch service.

There are 29 elegantly furnished rooms, all coming with a flat-screen TV, safe and minibar. Balconies offer scenic Baku views. Anyone staying there would be pleasantly surprised. All 29 rooms are very tastefully done up. Those rooms facing the lake at the back has superb view. Daily cleaning in the rooms.

The hotel also has an excellent spa and is included in the room rate. There is also a gym.

Good buffet breakfast is served, restaurant specializes in typical Azerbaijani cuisine and traditional European dishes. Overlooking the lake, well stocked Lounge Bar serves a variety of cocktails, coffees and deserts.

The best thing about the hotel is the staff, always smiling and eager to help.
