Miraj hotel is new 3-4 star hotel built in 2009. It's located next to Polytechnic University, 10 minutes walk from 'Elmlar Akademiyasy' Metro station. 2-3 stops by tube and you could be in Baku city centre within minutes.

The hotel has 18 rooms in total including two Extra Lux rooms, two Lux rooms and two standard rooms. Extra Lux rooms are quite large and equipped with all the modern services, these rooms have also balconies. Lux rooms are similar to Extra Lux rooms but just come without balconies. Standard rooms are of smaller size, without balconies, also well equipped. The spacious rooms (really large comparing to European standards) at the Miraj Inn Baku feature elegant de'cor and stylish dark wood furniture. All rooms include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Beds are large and comfortable, so are bathrooms. TV shows major Azeri, European, and Russian channels. You might not be willing to keep your window or balcony door open, when you are in the room, as the street outside is quite busy and noisy.

Breakfast buffet offers a good choice, including Turkish option of white cheese + cucumbers + tomatoes + olives, black tea and pomegranate juice. In most cases waiter will also offer an omelette or fried eggs.

The hotel is very decent, with good service and modern equipment. Every room has high speed internet and IDD phone. Among other services are laundry, 24 room service, bar, restaurant.

All in all good hotel, good comfort, nice service, moderate rates, location a bit further away from city centre but with good transport connections this is should not be a problem.
