The hotel has a beautiful terrace on which you could have breakfast/lunch/dinner or just chill out while watching the seaside from about 50m. Lovely!
The hotel is positioned at Bailovo district – just 5-10 minutes drive to historical Old City and major business districts of Baku city. The hotel is within close proximity to most of the important commercial, business, and entertainment centres. There are good transportation links so you won’t experience problems with getting to central area using public transport (buses) or taxis. It is a 10 minute walk from the seaside boulevard, which is nice for jogging in the morning or just for a stroll during the day. The hotel is quite new, interesting architecture resembling some luxury villa.
All the rooms and the suites are designed and replete with all the modern amenities that are required to meet the travel or holiday needs of the guests. Rooms are fitted with amenities like mini bar, refrigerators, tea/coffee makers, Safety box and hairdryer, Wi-Fi access, desk, etc. that add to your comfort. The hotel has 20 guestrooms (8 standard rooms, 8 business rooms, 3 luxury rooms and 1 exclusive suite) that come either with king or twin beds. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request. The standard rooms are not very spacious, but with new amenities. Pay a little extra for the sea view rooms which are a bit quieter and obvioulsy have the view. Rooms are spotless, with a comfortable king-sized bed, long desk, mini-bar, and flat screen TV (complete with BBC and CNN). The bathroom might seem tiny but very nice. No tub, just a shower in standard rooms.
There is no elevator in the hotel and the stairs are quite steep, but with helpful staff and strong legs that should not be a problem.
"Riviera" Restaurant serves both Continental and Azeri cuisine and snacks and is opened for lunches and dinners. Beautiful restaurant area overlooking the promenade. Nice buffet breakfast in a conservatory, again overlooking the water, is served from 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The restaurant serves really fantastic food and it's quite cheap compared to most restaurants in Baku.
Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful, although perhaps due to inexperience can be very slow about getting things done. Still they would help you with any possible request. They are also good English speakers.
Perfect for business and leisure travelers, the Riviera Hotel offers accommodation that is spacious and comfortable. The difference between this hotel and others is they strive to go that last mile for you. Very good value for money.
