The Golden Coast Hotel has a very nice location, being in the centre of Baku near the harbor and the bustling boulevard that borders the Caspian Sea. As a result the hotel offers fantastic views over the city and the Bay of Baku. It is nestled in the heart of the business and entertainment district and is within easy walking distance of the main shopping area.
The hotel offers cozy accommodation in its tastefully appointed guest rooms and suites. The Golden Coast has 48 standard and 20 Suite rooms. Rooms are very spacious, cozily designed and outfitted with all the comforts of modern day. Some of the rooms have only shower, some with bathtubs/Jacuzzi. All rooms equipped with writing desks, office equipment, Two line telephones, Voice mail system, Video and music on demand, Air conditioning, High speed internet access, Deposit box, Luxurious bathroom amenities, Hair dryer, scale and magnifying mirror in the bathroom, Bathrobes and slippers, Refrigerated private bar. A Standard Room is located in the hotel building facing the park across the street and the Caspian Sea. All Suite rooms have a panoramic view of the Caspian Sea. Views from the rooms are good especially during the night-time, good view of Flame Tower and the Caspian Sea.
Guests can enjoy the open buffet breakfast in the main restaurant as well as various choices at the a la carte breakfast. Buffet breakfast have a selection of fruits, cold meats, fresh pastries and a variety of cold cereals, but it obviously could be more plentiful and better and in no way even close to 5 or even 4* hotel standards. Very limited food choice in restaurant.
There is a large swimming pool which is quite nice. Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful.
A decent place to stay in. It may really not be a 5 star hotel, but it is still a good value for money!
