Day 1: Arrival to Baku
After the checking at the passport control and customs at the Heydar Aliyev airport you will be met by local guide and transferred to your hotel by coach.
Baku sightseeing tour. Visit to Memory Alley – “Shehidler Khiyabany”, panoramic view of Baku city from the park. visit to medieval fortress of Old Baku - “Icheri Sheher”15-17 cc.

Day 2. Baku-Absheron Peninsula & Gobustan
The Absheron Peninsula is located 29 m below World Ocean level. Favorable climate-geographical and geological conditions contributed to the fact that the Absheron was already inhabited 20000 years ago (e.g., an ancient human settlement site near the village of Yeni Surakhany). The whole peninsula is studded with ancient man settlement sites and mounds dated to the Bronze Age and Early Iron Age.
Mud volcanoes are fine mystery of nature. Azerbaijan is the first among the world's countries by quantity and diversity of mud volcanoes. All known types of mud volcanoes on the world are represented in Azerbaijan.
Gobustan Petroglyphs - An Outdoor Museum. It is a rocky massif on the bottom of the southeast part of the Great Caucasus Range, near the Caspian Sea and a modern highway built on the ancient Shirvan road. The rocks of Gobustan also retain the evidence of the presence of Roman legionnaires crossing this attractive region in the 1st century BC. A rock has been found here with the carved inscription in Latin written by Roman centurions of the XII Legio Fulminata. The inscription reads that the Emperor Domitianus Caesar Augustus Germanicus ruled in Rome at the time. Now Gobustan is nominated for the inclusion in the list of "World Legacy" maintained by UNESCO.
Attracting a great interest among guests of Baku is the temple of Zoroastrians - Ateshgah (the house of fire) in the village of Surakhany (17th century). It is situated on a rock where natural emergences of gas on the surface have been burning for thousands of years. Near the village of Muhammedli one can observe an interesting natural phenomenon -the emergence of burning natural gases at the bottom of the mountains. The place is called Yanar Dag (The Burning Mountain"). Visit Temple of Fire Worshippers’ – “Ateshgah”.
Day 3 Baku-Sheki
Trip to Sheki town in the north-west of Azerbaijan. En route visit major highlights of Medieval architecture of Azerbaijan. Visit Mausoleum of Seven Domes – “Yeddi Gumbez” in Shamakha town. On the way visit to “Diri Baba” mausoleum in Maraza village, historical mosque “Juma”. Arrival to Sheki. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: Sheki - Border to Georgia (Lagodekhi)
Sheki sightseeing tour. Visit to the local medieval fortress, Sheki Khans’ palace, local museum of history, local handicrafts workshop, and panoramic view of the town. Transfer to Georgia border, change car and continue tour to Georgia, visit fortified town of Sighnaghi, walking tour in town , visit local wine cellar, excursion and wine degustation, after excursion depart to Tbilisi.
Day 5: Tbilisi and Mtskheta tour
After breakfast Tbilisi sightseeing tour including Metekhi Church, overlooking the river Mtkvari (13th century); Sulphur Baths; Narikala Fortress, one of the oldest fortifications in the city (4th century); Sioni Cathedral (6-7th century). All these sights mark the end of the Old Town and they are in close proximity and pleasant walking distance. Afterwards we take a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, the main street in Tbilisi, visit Treasury of Art museum and Tbilisi National museum. Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.
Continue tour to Mtskheta, which was the capital of Georgia before establishment of Tbilisi. Mtskheta is approximately 2,500 years-old and because of the abundance of ancient monuments - which are included in the UNESCO Heritage List. Here you will see one of the masterpieces of world architecture - Jvari Church built in the end of VI century and majestic cathedral of XI century - Svetitskhoveli. Overnight at Tbilisi hotel.
Day 6: Tbilisi-Kutaisi
Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Kutaisi, Kutaisi Sightseeing in the old Town, visit Bagrati Temple, historic and architectural complex of Gelati. Overnight at Kutaisi hotel.
Day 7: Kutaisi-Gori-Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel, visit Prometheus caves, after excursion depart to Tbilisi, en route visit Gori, visit Uplistsikhe - one of the first cities in the country. It is a city carved in the rock cave history of which starts at the beginning of the Iron Age .Overnight at Tbilisi hotel.
Day 8: Tbilisi
Free day in Tbilisi, overnight at Tbilisi hotel.
Day 9: Tbilisi-Sadakho - Haghpat - Sanahin – Yerevan
After breakfast transfer to Sadaklo border and after border formalities start the Armenian part of the tour. Visit Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries. Drive to Yerevan. Check into hotel. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 10: Yerevan – Etchmiadzin – Zvartnots – Yerevan
After breakfast drive to Echmiatsin. Visit Main Cathedral. Visit Hripsime church. On the way back to Yerevan visit Zvartnots temple. Yerevan city tour. Visit Mother Armenia, Matenadaran museum, Cascade, Northern Avenue. Visit Genocide memorial. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 11: Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Lake Sevan – Sevanavank – Yerevan
After breakfast drive to Garni temple. Continue to Geghard monastery. Drive to Lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank. Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 12: Yerevan – Khor Virap – Areni – Noravank – Yerevan
Breakfast. Drive to Khor Virap monastery. Continue to Areni region and visit Areni winery. Visit Noravank monastery, Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 13: Yerevan – departure.
Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
