GUARANTEED DEPARTURE WEEKEND TOURS TO COUNTRYSIDE

We’d like to introduce to our customers a new service with the main objective to introduce tourists with traditional village life in Azerbaijan. These are small group tours to Azeri countryside to experience the traditional daily life in remote corners of Azerbaijan, to get a genuine feeling of Caucasus, to see the day to day routine of ordinary people leaving in traditional way as their ancestor did for many centuries. You’ll be rewarded by breath-taking panoramas, picturesque villages, green gardens, fascinating culture, local people and spectacular scenery. 

Due to the individuality of our itineraries, each tour is usually offered once a week - on Saturday (tour days Saturday and Sunday). However, the weekday tours are not impracticable if there are at least 6 people in the group. The trips are conducted in English.

This is a good opportunity to live the real countryside life during your visit to AZ. The tours are off-beaten track, avoid the touristy places, and we are pretty sure that you won’t find similar offer with any other travel company. Besides you would be pleasantly surprised by the low cost. We just want all the guests - tourists, expats and everybody else as well - to come to see the traditional rural life of Azerbaijan, as well as see the beauties of its nature. 

The tours are mainly to the North-West and Northern regions that by common view are the most picturesque in terms of nature and panoramic vistas. The visits are to Gabala, Lahic, Quba, Xinalyg depending on the itinerary. Overnight in local house in Vandam village. Furthermore, we also organise tours to Ismailli, Shaki, Gakh, Balakan, Lankaran, Guba (staying in other villages) and etc.

The program of the typical tour:

Day 1.

07:45 - Meeting - in front of '28 May' Metro station

08:00 - Leaving Baku

08:00 - 12:00 – On the way to Gabala

12:00 - Arriving Gabala; settling in the rooms

12:00 - 13:00 - Spare time (playing games; get to know each other)

13:00 - 14:00 - Lunch time (traditional homemade meal)

14.00 - 14:30 - Free time (enjoying live performance)

14:30 - 16:00 - Go to have fun in Qabaland (Lunapark)

16:00 - 18:00 - Travelling to the 'Gabala Shooting Centre' (Bum village)

18:00 - 19:00 - Relaxing time of tea ceremony in the open air

19:00 - 20:30 - Visiting the city centre / Spare time activities

20:30 - Back to the house (Vandam village)

21:00 - Free time until you sleep. :)

Day 2.

09:00 - 10:00 Having breakfast (made by natural produce)

10:00 - 11:00 - Free time (enjoying live music)

11:00 - 12:30 - Visiting the 'Old Gabala' - the ruins of an ancient walled city, dating back to the 4th century BC. (Chukhur Gabala village)

12:30 - Back to Vendam village

13:00 - 14:00 - Lunch time (national cuisine)

14:00 - 15:00 - Having some walk in the village

15:00 - 16:00 - Visiting '7 gozel' (7 beauties) waterfall

16:00 - 17:00 - Having rest and preparation for going back home

17:00 - 21:00 - On the way to Baku

Accommodation: the houses we take tourists are the local ones, which have good conditions for both living in summer and winter time. The bathroom is in normal condition too, although we promote the traditional way of living of village life. In other words, due to this concept the bathroom is usually outside of the house, like in old times. There are both separate and shared rooms. The travellers are settled according to the relations between them.
