Anatolia Hotel is another three star hotel in Baku. The positition of the building is in a residential area, slightly away from the main routes. It has the advantage of being away from fast noisy traffic. Anatolia is within walking distance to Tofik Bakhramov Stadium, which is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of FK Baku, Neftchi Baku, and the Azerbaijan national football team. The nearest tube station is Ganjlik (just 10 minutes walk), that would be very handy to get to central Baku within 10-15 minutes. Alternatively you can take a taxi ride that would not cost you more than 5-10 Euros. The only problem is many of the taxi drivers don't know how to find this place, even if you provide the address on the business card with a small map on the back of the card. Also, there is absolutely nothing close by, restaurants and bars are at the city centre.
This hotel offers 50 guest rooms that have been elegantly furnished with an array of in-room amenities to ensure you utmost comfort. All rooms and suites are well appointed with amenities of luxurious comfort. A soothing decor and cozy ambience makes the rooms in Anatolia Hotel the comfort hub of the tourists. There are 10 Junior rooms, 25 Double and 15 Twin rooms in the hotel. The rooms are very clean, large, not luxurious, but perfectly nice for a week-long stay, and very comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and there is lots of wardrobe space.
The Terrace restaurant at the hotel serves a wide range of lip smacking cuisine. Traditional Azeri as well as continental cuisine is available at the restaurant. The bar serves exotic cocktails and stocks choices of foreign and local beers and liquors. You can watch your favorite sport channels on wide screen TV. It features an indoor pool, small gym/fitness centre and sauna. Pool and gym in the basement look a liitle neglected and unused.
Breakfast is quite ok: it includes some meet, cheese, lots of sweets, fruit juices, muesli, yoghurt, breads, jams and different types of hot dishes, varied every day.
The staff are helpful, smart and knowledgeable, always ready to greet with a smile and assist at any time.
Far from business and cultural places but good value for money.
